Escape to this architect-designed 'Picker's Shed' that floats over the vines of Supply River Mill Vineyard, with its panoramic views of the pristine Tamar River.  Taste the pinot noir that comes from this parcel of land – the first bottle is on us.

Laze away on the deck. Watch the mist rise. Stroll amongst the two acres of vines or walk by the riverbank.  Fish off the pier. Play tennis at the local court.  Retreat to the fire.  Soak yourself in the bathhouse watching the Tamar’s still waters.

With a kitchen/ living area and a bunkhouse fashioned from beautiful timbers this modern cabin is a discreet aesthetic delight. The Picker's Shed has the capacity to sleep a maximum of six (four in the bunkhouse built from Tasmanian oak by local craftsmen; another two in a day bed that converts into a double bed). Contact us if your group is more than six as there is the possibility of renting another room for two in the working vineyard shed 50 meters down the slope.

Along the deck, the bathhouse is also fashioned from local timbers and allows you to lie in steaming water after a long day with a view of the river and the hills beyond.

Supply River Mill Vineyard is an operating vineyard and so work can be taking place on the vines or in the second shed down the hill from eight in the morning.  This is particularly the case from October through to March when the tending of the vines is in full swing. Time your stay and you will be part of the vintage harvesting of the grapes.

During peak season Christmas to Australia Day rentals are for a minimum of four days.  For the rest of the year the minimum booking period is three days.
